Named after the highest mountain in Ukraine, Hoverla F.C. represents ambition, resilience, and elevation — always climbing, always rising.

OUR HISTORY

Hoverla F.C. was founded in 2005 by Ihor Pandrak, a Ukrainian immigrant with a deep love for the game and a vision to bring people together through soccer. What began with just one amateur men’s team competing in the Metro Detroit Soccer League and later the Michigan United Soccer League, quickly became a hub for the local Ukrainian community. Home games at Dibrova Park in Brighton, Michigan, were more than matches — they were gatherings filled with pride, connection, and tradition.

In 2022, the club took a bold step forward by expanding into youth development. This new chapter gave recently immigrated Ukrainian children a place to belong — a space where they could continue their passion for soccer while building new friendships and finding comfort in a shared community.

Today, Hoverla F.C. is proud to welcome players and coaches from all backgrounds and cultures. While our roots are Ukrainian, our mission is universal: to create a home for every young athlete, where they can grow, compete, and climb higher — together.

Our OFFERS

Developmental Teams

For players who are new to soccer or building their foundation, these teams focus on learning the game, developing teamwork, and having fun in a positive, welcoming environment.

Competitive Teams

For players ready to push further, our competitive program offers advanced training, structured league play, and the opportunity to compete against top-level clubs across Michigan.

Goalkeeper Training

Specialized sessions for keepers of all ages and abilities, focused on technique, confidence, and decision-making between the posts.

Video Analysis

Modern tools to help players understand their performance, make smarter decisions on the field, and learn from real-game scenarios.

Summer Camps

High-energy, skill-building camps that blend fun with development — open to all players regardless of club affiliation.

Certified Coaching Staff

Our licensed coaches are passionate educators and mentors who are committed to each player's personal and athletic growth.

WHO CAN JOIN?

We are currently enrolling boys and girls from the ages of 4 through 18. We develop all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players.

The fields are located behind the Immaculate Conception School. Practices are held outdoors during the fall and spring seasons.

Michigan Youth Soccer League (MYSL)

This is where many of our younger or newer teams start. MYSL is a well-organized league where kids play against other local teams. It’s a great place for players to build confidence, learn the game, and have fun in a supportive environment.

Michigan State Premier Soccer Program (MSPSP)

This is a more advanced league for players who are ready for higher-level competition. Teams in MSPSP play against some of the best clubs across the state. These games are more intense and help prepare players for college-level soccer or other serious goals

Michigan State Cup & Junior State Cup

These are state-wide tournaments where top teams compete for championship titles. Playing in these cups is a big achievement and helps kids experience teamwork, resilience, and what it means to work toward something big.
